hello there!

I’m Shang Long Yeo, a senior tutor with the National University of Singapore (NUS). From Oct 2022-2023, I am visiting Monash University as an NUS Overseas Postdoctoral Fellow. I received my PhD in philosophy from the Australian National University in Oct 2020, and I have a BA(Hons) in philosophy and economics from the National University of Singapore. My work is generally in moral philosophy; I’m also fascinated by many other issues in political philosophy, epistemology, philosophy of science, and decision theory.

In my spare time, I design and illustrate things. My assigned Harry Potter house is Slytherin (I do not identify with this), and my assigned Patronus is a fox terrier (I do identify with this).
